Pick the spot first

The gift box and ornament stakes push into soft lawn or a deep planter and stand about 29 to 43 in tall, so a set of three at different heights reads well along a walkway or beside the front steps. The display towers, lanterns, sleighs and mailboxes stand on their own base, so they want a level porch floor, step or patio. The solar lantern needs a spot with direct sun. The bells and the galvanized snowflakes hang, so look for a porch rail, an eave or a sturdy hook.

Weather and storage

Every piece here is powder coated or galvanized metal rated for indoor and outdoor use, finished to resist weather and rust. A covered porch keeps the paint brightest. After the holidays, wipe each piece dry and store it indoors. The galvanized snowflakes fold flat, and the gift boxes lift off their stakes for easier storage.

How do the gift box garden stakes go into the ground?

Each one has a metal stake that pushes into soft lawn or potting soil. The 3-piece gift box sets use a three-prong stake for extra stability, and the boxes can come off the stake to sit on a step or hang instead.

Do the Letters to Santa mailboxes open?

Yes. Each one has a slot at the top for letters and a latched door at the bottom to collect them, and a small lock can be added to the 3-piece set if you want one (not included). The 72 in North Pole mailbox has a flag that moves and a hanging sign you can personalize.

Do any of these light up?

A few do. The standing lanterns, both jingle bell sleighs and the two sets of LED backlit hanging snowflakes have built-in LED lights. The 59 in lantern, both sleighs and the LED backlit iron snowflakes run on AA batteries, and the 47.25 in lantern charges by solar power.
