How many sprays does it take to fill a Christmas tree?

A set of 6 sprays fills the gaps on a 6 to 7 ft tree. For a very full look, or a tree over 7 ft, use two sets, or one 6-pack plus a set of 2 tall stems near the top. Sets of 2 are sized for vases and mantels rather than whole trees.

Can I cut or bend the stems?

Yes. They are wired, so they bend by hand and cut with wire cutters. Cut a 36 in stem into two shorter picks, or bend a spray around a banister post. Bend gently at the wire rather than the foam or velvet.

Can the stems go outside?

Plastic pine, pinecone and berry sprays handle a covered porch or an outdoor planter out of direct rain. Velvet poinsettias, glittered branches, beaded and metallic stems should stay indoors, since moisture and sun will dull them.
