Most fans move air in one plane. The Optimus F-7508 moves it in two: it oscillates side to side AND its motorized louvers sweep the airflow up and down, so a single pedestal reaches far more of the room, all managed by remote with an LED display and a 7-hour timer.

Before You Buy
Here is what to know before it arrives:

Why it earns its spot
Comfort without getting up
The best fan features are the ones that save you a trip across the room. A remote changes the speed from the couch or bed, and the auto shut-off timer means this desktop air circulator can run you to sleep and switch itself off.
Fits the way you live
A fan only helps if it fits your space. This desktop air circulator is easy to move and set where the heat is, and it stores away just as easily when the season turns, so you are not tripping over it in a hallway all winter.

How it compares
Against a standard oscillating fan
A circulator is built to move a whole room's air, not just cool one seat, so it clears stuffiness and helps an AC or heater spread evenly through the space.
Against a large floor fan
It delivers focused, high-velocity airflow from a compact body that fits a desk or shelf, without the size, weight and noise of a full-scale floor unit.
Against leaving windows open
You get controllable, consistent airflow on demand at any hour, instead of relying on an outdoor breeze that may never arrive when the room turns stuffy.
What is louver rotating?
In addition to swinging side to side, motorized louvers sweep the airflow up and down, so air reaches more of the room.
