Why it earns its spot
Comfort without getting up
The best fan features are the ones that save you a trip across the room. A remote changes the speed from the couch or bed, and the auto shut-off timer means this oscillating stand fan can run you to sleep and switch itself off.
Fits the way you live
A fan only helps if it fits your space. This oscillating stand fan is easy to move and set where the heat is, and it stores away just as easily when the season turns, so you are not tripping over it in a hallway all winter.

How it compares
Against a wall AC unit
A stand fan costs a fraction to run and moves air where you sit, cooling you directly instead of chilling an entire room you may not be using.
Against a cheap desk fan
A full-height pedestal reaches the whole room and adjusts to seated or standing level, instead of pushing a narrow stream across one corner of a desk.
Against a ceiling fan
No wiring, no ladder and no landlord permission. You get directed, adjustable airflow you can move to any room and take with you when you go.
Does it include a remote?
Yes. The remote controls on/off, all 3 speeds and the timer. It uses AAA batteries, which are not included.
What does the timer do?
You can set an auto shut-off from 1 up to 7.5 hours, handy for bedtime.
Is there a natural breeze mode?
Yes. A natural rhythmic-wind setting varies the airflow to feel more like an outdoor breeze.

Works good, quiet
I ordered 2 of these. They were easy to assemble. However, it was clear that one had been used and returned. The base was scratched and the tab for the battery compartment had been removed. Because they were both working good I decided not to go thru the hassle of returning
