More Juice, More Nutrients
Fast juicers heat and oxidize produce, losing nutrients before the glass is full. The MCSJ-111 presses slowly at low speed, pulling more juice from the same produce while keeping vitamins and enzymes intact.

Can I use this juicer for leafy greens like kale and spinach?
Yes. The MCSJ-111's slow masticating press is built to handle leafy greens along with fruits and vegetables.
What does the reverse function do?
It reverses the auger direction to clear jammed pulp, so you rarely need a full tear-down mid-juice.
Are the parts dishwasher-safe?
The removable juicing parts are dishwasher-safe. Wipe the motor base clean instead of submerging it.
Is this a fast centrifugal juicer?
No. It is a slow masticating (cold-press) juicer, so each glass takes longer to press than a fast spinning machine.
Rinse removable parts promptly after juicing to prevent pulp from drying and sticking. Load the removable parts in the dishwasher's top rack, or hand wash with warm soapy water. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth only; never submerge it or run water over the power connections. Store the auger and juicing screen dry to prevent odor buildup.

Pulp buildup can stall a juicer mid-batch. The reverse function backs the auger out automatically, clearing jams so you keep juicing without a full disassembly.
A loud juicer wakes the whole house before sunrise. This slow-press motor runs quietly, so you can start the day with fresh juice without disturbing anyone still asleep.

Against the generic alternative: a slow masticating press extracts more juice with less foam and oxidation, instead of a fast spin that heats and separates it.
Against the generic alternative: a reverse function clears pulp jams on the spot, instead of a full stop-and-disassemble reset.

Great Value, Tough to Clean, Odd Design
The juicer certainly does what it’s designed to do and the motor seems reasonably reliable. I would recommend it as a low-cost option for anyone looking to try juicing at any frequency less than daily. If you anticipating using the machine one or more times each day, cleaning the metal straining component that often will be an unpleasant experience. In terms of design, there are a couple of small changes that would improve general functionally by allowing you to store all of components without taking up such a large footprint on the countertop. Two things that seem like no-brainers: (1) add a holder on the side of the machine for conveniently storing the cleaning brush and (2) slightly shrink the cup that collects food waste so that you can store the collection cup and waste cup nested inside each other on the machine’s flat surface under the dispenser.
