Care & Use

Always pre-cut meat into 1-inch strips and remove tough sinew before grinding. Operate in 10–15 minute cycles to prevent motor overheating. Disassemble and hand wash all food-contact parts immediately after use; dry and lightly oil cutters with food-safe mineral oil to prevent rust. Do not place metal parts in the dishwasher.

I used a large meat grinder in my restaurant, but I wanted something small for at home. Besides grinding meat I also use it for grinding breadcrumbs. This is a well-designed and practical grinder. It is important to know also that this is a very good company. They have great customer service unlike the Sunmile company - just a warning I bought a Sunmile SM-G31 grinder and was unable to contact the company for a broken part that was unique to their grinder.

Worked flawlessly out of the box. Powerful motor and sharp grinders

It came three days earlier than expected. Pulled it out the box, washed it off, and ground a three pound pork shoulder roast into three storage bags of ground pork ready for the freezer. I cut the roast up a bit, and the grinder had no issue. The motor speed never varied and the resulting ground meat was what I expected. Easy to clean up and absolutely no counter mess. I will use this to make apple sauce, salsa, and continue to purchase the less costly cuts of meat to grind for chili, pasta, and of course pork and ham burgers. I doubt I'll have much use for the sausage maker attachment, but who knows...I'm already in an experimentation mood. Should pay for it self in a couple of months. Very happy...we'll see how it holds up this next year.

Loved that it ground all my veggies for hot dog relish with no issues. I don't know how it would handle grinding meat, but for my purposes, it worked great. It was easy to use and clean up was effortless. Nice product.

Awesome

Just received my grinder and am in the process of using it. I did what a previous reviewer suggested and didn't over tighten the nut. I can say right now it kicks butt!! Man I'm loving the way it's operating and no, I haven't seen any silver shavings. IT IS VERY LOUD, lololol but so is my mixer, vacuum cleaner, carpet cleaner, grandkids, tv, etc etc. But as long as it does what it says, I can live with it. If anything changes, I'll be the first to let you know!

Beginners read this! 10+ year butcher

I was a butcher for 10+ years. People getting metal shavings in there food are either over tightening the head and most likely not using MINERAL OIL! You need lubrication and it prevents rust but all grinding plates rust! This grinder is good. I'm use to a grinder making 1 pound hamburger per second.... this grinder is more like 1 lb per minute. You really need to cut up your stuff into smaller pieces too no matter what grinder you use. Mineral oil would have fixed almost all the negative reviews on here!
