Key Features
Before You Buy
Here is what to know before it arrives:
What's Included
16 pieces, a full service for four:
Perfect For
Does this set include coffee mugs?
No. The Countess uses a double-bowl layout, so every place setting has two bowls (one larger, one smaller) instead of a mug. Pair it with your own cups.
How many people does it serve?
Four. Sixteen pieces make four complete place settings.
Is it microwave and dishwasher safe?
Yes, both. Reheat leftovers in the microwave and clean up in the dishwasher.
What are the two bowl sizes for?
The larger bowl suits pasta, soup and stew; the smaller bowl handles cereal, sides and dessert.
Is the ivory finish glossy or matte?
Glossy. The stoneware carries an embossed pattern with scalloped salad plates under a glossed glaze.
Dishwasher safe; a top-rack placement helps protect the glaze over the long run. Microwave safe for reheating. Avoid thermal shock by not moving pieces straight from the freezer into a hot oven. This stoneware is not made for stovetop or broiler use. Stack plates with felt or paper separators to guard against chips.
Elama, from Gibson Overseas, designs tabletop that looks considered without the boutique markup. The Countess set is a good example: real stoneware weight, an embossed ivory glaze and a smart double-bowl layout for households that reach for a bowl more often than a mug. It is dinnerware built to be used every day and still earn a spot when guests come over.

Thin, light dishes read as cheap the moment you pick them up. This stoneware has real heft and a glossy embossed glaze, so an everyday set still feels worthy of company at the table.
Reheating and cleanup are where budget dinnerware usually fails. Countess is safe in both the microwave and the dishwasher, so leftovers and after-dinner cleanup stay effortless.
What a single Countess set covers.
Bargain dinnerware is thin and light and shows it. This is genuine stoneware with real weight and a glossy embossed glaze that holds up to daily use.
Most sets force a coffee mug you may not use. Countess swaps in a second bowl per seat, so pasta, soup, cereal and salad all get the right vessel.
Unbranded imports leave you on your own if something arrives flawed. Elama backs this set with a 90-day limited warranty against manufacturing defects.

Beautiful dishes
Beautiful dishes high quality dishwasher and microwave safe.
Beautiful set
I waited a long time for this set to be back in stock and when they were, I ordered two sets. Packaged very well, nothing arrived broken and I love the set.
Looks
Got these for my daughter and she loves them. Looks good and it’s durable.
Gorgeous dinnerware!
The Elama set of dinnerware I purchased is simply gorgeous! The ivory, gold, and brown colors are exquisitely soft and luxurious. My everyday dinner way will now be my company set. The pieces are heavy as stoneware should be. Each piece was carefully wrapped and packaged. There was no breakage in delivvery. I bough several different sets so I could have a variety of bowls. These bowls are large and can also be used as serving bowls. I love that they are dishwasher and microwave safe. Good job, Elama!
Nice set for Our Purposes
Happy with purchase. Only four stars because there are some minor manufacturing defects. Which I was aware may be an issue before purchasing due to comments from other reviewers. Otherwise, very nice set.
