My previous mantle clock broke after many hears and no longer chimed.

this is a very beautifull clock. i like especially the auto shut off feature.my older clock you have to manually shut it down.the apperance is very beautifull,larger than my older bulova. trhanks for this nice product!

The chimes didn't match the time when I first set it. I called Customer Service & they told me the (simple) fix. Looks nice.

This clock is just as I thought it would be from the description and picture. I'm really happy with this purchase! There was a problem with my order as the the clock was broken and the box had a little damage. A new clock was sent promptly and is fine. The first delivered item was held over the gate of the concrete drive way and dropped instead of being put on the porch as I requested (a very common occurrence for weekend deliveries). It seems as though there is a consistent issue somewhere along the line with the handling. Both boxes had the same damage in the same place, the bottom right corner on the front was bent and torn.

We purchased this for our mantel. We chose it because of the features and look. We love the various selections of chimes and music - they are very soothing. We are very happy with our choice.

LOOOVVE this clock! It’s beautiful and has a lovely chime audible throughout my home. The reason I gave only 4 stars is because the number of chimes do not coincide with the time. I just changed the setting to simply play the tune on the hour. Well made for the cost and a nice addition to my mantle.

Directions easy to understand. Use reset button to set the AM & PM function. Don’t have to manually turn wheel through the hours. Battery compartment is large enough for man hands to insert batteries. Volume is loud enough to hear in other rooms. Has volume dial as well so yes can turn it down. Only chimes on the hour. No second ticking. The 4 chime settings is easy to change. Arrived on #4. I liked the 3rd setting. Westminster with strikes. Shipping packaging was good. Well protected with wrap type foam and foam strips on both front and back of box. Glass had strips of a foam type tape.

Love the looks of the clock. Only complaint is the chimes go off every hour, not just the hours it is supposed to. Have had 2 of them and both chimed 24 hours.

The chimes are clearly electronic, but sound great. It keeps great time, and looks good!

It is a beautiful clock and I love it. It is easy to read and sits quite nicely on my mantle. I like listening to the chime too, that is why I got it, because it has a chime. I only gave it 4 stars because I wanted a chime that dinged the hours too and this one does not. Otherwise for me it is perfect.

We decided we wanted to have a nice but yet elegant clock in our living room so when I saw the Bedford Clock Collection Redwood Mantel Clock with Chimes, I knew I had to grab it and I'm so glad we did! WOW is this clock everything I thought it would be and how I love the chiming sound. It has really added a lot of favor to my home décor. It's great and the unique style of the clock is even nicer in person, it's very easy to operate and simple at that to set. We placed our 3 standard "AA" batteries ( not included ) right inside and before long it was working. I will say make sure to follow instructions on how to set the clock properly or you may mess it up, all that information and more comes with your clock. The redwood finish is so beautiful and I love that it has the Glassdoor enclosing clock face. So, if you're seeking to add a little favor to your home décor with a nice clock look no more this is the Best mantel clock with chimes I've seen yet.
