Handsome clock. Case is real wood. Movement, clock face, and pendulum are plastic. Clock only chimes on the hour. The sound is not as rich as an expensive grandfather clock would be and it is not very loud. OK for a small room though. It is somewhat heavy so take that into account if you cannot hang it in a stud. I used a molly bolt for drywall. I hope it holds.

This clock came well packaged but after struggling to figure out why the time was wrong, we realized there was a place for an additional battery to run the clock mechanism. After doing this, things went better. My only complaint is that to make any adjustments to chime settings, clock time, etc, you have to take it down off the wall, remove the wooden back that slides instead of being able to open the front door like our old clock. Hopefully it lasts for many years

Bought this as a birthday gift for my daughter. She was delighted with the clock and immediately put it in their home office. Sturdy construction, and she likes the musical chimes.

It was easy to set up. The sound quality is equal to a grandfather clock. It has a built in 9PM - 6 AM no sound for sleeping. Pendulum works great.I would highly recommend this clock. Model wall clock Bed-Jacob

Just received our clock so can’t be sure if it will keep good time but for the money it looks good - took off one start because the inside backing doesn’t exactly look like it took stain or what ever well but for the price it’s good!

The tone of the color is beautiful. Unique design with elegant with good selection of chime tones and adjustable volume. Everything works as stated in product description. Very nice wall clock.I would highly recommend!

For the first 24 hours it didn't seem to keep time, but it's been working perfectly since. It chimes 24/7 unlike how it claims to be silent between 9pm and 6am, but I actually prefer this anyway. I made the mounting hole larger so I could use a stout screw to hold it up, because it's heavy just for one little screw to hold. All sounds are recorded. There is no actual bell, so it doesn't sound perfectly crisp, but it's good enough for us, especially since I got it discounted. The song "at Alice" is Fur Elise. It is beautiful on my wall. The face is large enough to read from across my large living room. We are all glad to have it.
