Bedford Clock Collection Weathered 25" Chiming Wall Clock with Brass-Tone Pendulum – Cherry Wood Finish, Quartz Movement & 4 Chime Modes

What caught my eye first was the light cherry oak color that would match my curtains and some furniture. Second were the slight curves top and bottom and clean side columns, giving a softer feeling than the sharp edges and jagged trim of other clocks. I was looking for a pleasant looking clock, not a mini cathedral. So I decided against the gargoyles and steeples. The wood framed glass door with magnetic latch is a nice touch with a pretty gold trim on the glass. The clock face with easy to read roman numerals and hands are fairly fancy but nice to look at, not drawing attention from the rest of the clock. The board the clock mechanism is mounted on is not much to look at, a thin piece of wood colored fiber board with an unfinished edge on the bottom. Seems to keep good time so far and the artsy looking fancy pendulum with what looks like a stringed musical Lyre instrument, swings much like a real one. Not a big fan of the electronic noise boxes in these things, but its ok for the time being. Not much of an audio selection or options for half hour bell. I like that you can control the volume. I already have a mechanical Thomas mantle clock that tick-tocks, so wasn't looking for that bit of ambiance. All in all, a beautiful clock for the price. A very nice case to later upgrade the clock mechanism at least to an actual gravity winding style with the large pine cone pull chains. I think most people would find this a nice addition to any wall in there home at a decent budget price. Not a gaudy looking clock, yet not a plain one.

We personalized this clock and gifted it to a couple for their wedding. The clock is beautiful, and all we did was add a plaque (bought from a trophy store locally) The plaque on the too says "Love is timeles love like purse will stand the test of time." On the bottom we added another plaque with their names and wedding date. They cried when they saw it. It is truly a beautiful clock. The sounds it plays are beautiful, and it has volume control. I want to buy one for my house too.

When I received this and tried to set it up it was a nightmare. They instructions stated it took 3 batteries. The chimes worked and the pendulum but it was not keeping any time. After many calls to the factory it was determined that the instructions had a typo and it took 4 batteries, not three. It now works and is hung but it was very frustrating.

There's not anything that I dislike about this clock. It is what I expected. It runs very quietly. The volume can be adjusted which the other one I had couldn't. If I don't want to hear the chimes that can be turned off, which I couldn't on the other one. I prefer the chimes because if I am not in the room where the clock is located, the chimes lets me know what time it is and, this lets me know how much time I have to get to my destination(s).

Wow highly recommended this clock. It is super accurate. I used to have a real wind up chime clock so sure wish to hear the chimes sounding more real. Nevertheless it does sound nice and has a volume and chime selector. I love the accuracy. It waiting to go to my vacation home in Mexico. Sure is gonna look good there. Thums up.

Love the clock. It looks just like a mechanical clock but much easier to maintain. This made a nice functional replacement for the mechanical clock that I no longer have access to a repair service. I wish there was a way to have it chime during the nighttime hours as well as daytime hours. Also might be nice to choose whether it would tick or not. Otherwise no complaints.

This clock came without damages from the shipping but does have imperfections from the manufacturer. I guess you get what you pay for as the price is good for all of the features. The face is small so might look good in a large room.It is accurate on time, sounds ok and I like the look of the pendulum.

Perfect fit for my living room wall. Soon as u come in the front door, you may hear the chime. Not big and bulky but the perfect size.

I love this clock! Very nice and elegant. I wanted to replicate the clock/chime that I grew up with and this does it perfectly. The packaging was great! The flap that I am holding with my hand goes on top of the clock for protection. No damage and quick delivery.

We had to replace an old wall clock that stopped after many years of reliable service. Very impressed with this clock after opening. Nicely stylized and crafted. A great replacement.

Very good value. Keeps accurate time. Looks very nice on parlor wall. Wish it chimed louder, wish it chimed all night. I expect clocks three or four times as expensive might do that. Reviews told me about I might expect that. Took me a while to figure out how to get the chimes to match the hour, but it can be done. Instructions are not well written in the English language, but they work. Any home should enjoy this clock.

We bought this clock to replace an old one that broke. Great value. The color is beautiful and easy to hang up. Perfect size to hang on the wall with other decor. We are very pleased with this clock.
