No. The bowl is stainless steel with a polished copper plating. You get the copper look and a bowl that resists rust, at a fraction of the weight and cost of solid copper. Like all copper, the plating darkens and patinas over time outdoors.
About 2.5 inches at the center, sloping up to the rim. That shallow profile is what small songbirds prefer. Fill it one to two inches deep and add a flat stone in the middle if you want a perch for smaller birds and bees.
Not as shipped. The bowl mounts only on the included two-prong stake, which needs to be pressed into soil. For a deck or slab you would need a separate stand or bracket. In a garden bed or lawn it sets up in under a minute.
Barely. The bowl has a threaded base on the underside that screws onto the top of the stake by hand. Press the two prongs into the ground until the crossbar sits at soil level, level the bowl, and fill.
Empty it and bring the bowl indoors before hard freezes. Water expanding into ice stresses the metal and the threaded joint. The stake can stay in the ground, or pull it and store everything together in a shed or garage.
