Wireless Indoor Outdoor Thermometer with Barometer, Forecast Icons, Alarm Clock and Timer, by Taylor (1733)

Know what is happening outside before you open the door

At a Glance

• Two temperatures: indoor and outdoor readings side by side in F or C
• Wireless sensor: the outdoor sensor transmits up to 200 ft in open air
• Barometer: pressure reading with history and forecast icons
• Alarm clock and timer: snooze alarm plus a 24-hour countdown timer
• Temperature alert: set a high or low point and the station warns you

Checking the weather app every morning gets old, and it never tells you what your own backyard feels like. The Taylor 1733 puts a wireless outdoor sensor on your porch or under an eave and shows that reading next to the indoor temperature on one desk-ready screen. A built-in barometer tracks pressure and turns it into forecast icons, so you can see a front moving in. An alarm clock, a 24-hour countdown timer, and a programmable temperature alert round it out for everyday use.

Key Features

• Indoor and outdoor at a glance: the display shows both temperatures together and switches between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
• 200 ft wireless reach: the remote sensor sends readings up to 200 feet in open space, enough for most yards and porches.
• Barometric pressure and forecast: pressure history drives simple forecast icons so you can spot changing weather early.
• Programmable temperature alert: pick a threshold and the station sounds off when the reading crosses it, handy for frost nights.
• Clock, alarm, and snooze: a calendar clock with alarm and snooze means one fewer device on the nightstand.
• 24-hour countdown timer: time a roast, a laundry cycle, or a nap from the same screen.
• Low-battery indicator: an on-screen icon tells you when it is time to swap batteries.

What's Included

In the box: the Taylor 1733 display station and one wireless outdoor temperature sensor.

Before You Buy

• It reads temperature and pressure, not humidity or rainfall. There is no hygrometer, rain gauge, or wind sensor on this model, so pick a full weather station if you need those readings.
• Walls and trees shorten the 200 ft range. That figure is for open air. Brick walls, sheds, and dense trees between the sensor and the display cut the effective distance, so test the spot before you mount it.
• Both units run on AAA batteries. The display and the sensor each take 2 AAA batteries. Use lithium cells in the sensor for winters that drop below -4 F.

Perfect For

• Checking the outdoor temperature before the morning walk
• Watching for frost nights in the garden
• A kitchen counter or home office desk
• Weather watchers who like a barometer trend
• Garages, sunrooms, and porches you want to monitor

Care & Use

• Mount the sensor in a dry, shaded spot such as under an eave, out of direct sun and rain.
• Never submerge the sensor or the display.
• Wipe the screen with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.
