Rotate, Amplify, and Lock In a Clearer Signal

At a Glance

  • 360 degree motorized rotation controlled from a wireless remote

  • 360 degree motorized rotor aims the antenna at the strongest signal without climbing a ladder
  • 20-28dB amplifier gain pulls in weak or distant over-the-air broadcasts
  • Full band DTV/VHF/UHF and FM receiver covers digital and analog broadcast bands
  • Supports HDTV 1080p, 1080i, and 720p broadcast signals
  • Anti-corrosion aluminum construction and a damp-proof housing built for outdoor mounting

  • Wireless remote control rotates the antenna from inside the house

Before You Buy

  • This antenna receives free over-the-air broadcasts. It does not pull in cable or streaming channels.
  • Reception range depends on distance to broadcast towers, terrain, and obstructions, not just the amplifier gain.
  • Outdoor mounting hardware and a clear line of sight to the roof or mast are needed for best results.

Why Choose Supersonic?

SuperSonic has built outdoor and indoor antennas for cord-cutters for years, and the SC-603 pairs a rotating motor with real amplifier gain instead of relying on placement alone to fix a weak signal.

Real Amplification

20-28dB of gain pulls in signals a passive antenna would miss entirely.

Two TVs, One Antenna

Split the feed to cover a second television without buying a second antenna.

SuperSonic SC-603 good for attic install

It is priced cheap, lightweight and small. Has a 50' long 0.15" (very light) diameter cable. 8" tall, 3' long, 3' wide, so it fit easily in my attic. It "might" be okay on the roof, but very light weight and fragile. The base station uses the coax to power the rotor. Turns 360 degrees and auto-reverses. Double pressing the button also reverses it (a bit finicky on that). As others mentioned, it does NOT have an encoder, so you have to guess which way it is pointing. However, even stationary, it picks up all stations better than the wall mounted antenna I was using. The base station has a short 3' coax cable for the "primary tv". Hooking up a second TV (with my own long run coax) worked great and did not interfere with the primary TV. The base unit must do some kind of signal processing since the antenna coax has to run through the base unit and the base unit has to be on to get a signal. The base unit is 5"x4"x2" with a 4' power cord. The front of the base has the IR receiver. The remote is 1"x2"x0.5" and uses 2xAA batteries. The remote is a bit finicky with best use about 30 degrees up/down/left/right of front center.

Excellent Reception Compared to 3 Different Indoor Antennas

We have played around with assorted different indoor antennas, including an amplified one, and had just about decided we might have to keep paying for DirecTV or Xfinity due to the poor quality of reception and inability to get local channels clearly. Last ditch effort, we got & temporarily hooked up this antenna to see if it was better. WOW! What a difference! It detected 128 channels right away without the need to rotate it at all, or mounting it above the roof line. Every channel, including locals ones, was clear and not pixelated. We even got audio for the premium paid channels like Encore, HBO & Showtime, but the video was blank of course. Now we are going to find an economical way to mount it - the 1" PVC was a bit wobbly & we do not trust it when it gets windy. Just the weight of the antenna causes it to bend / lean, as shown from the picture I snapped from my back door. I was very impressed with the clear reception. My husband assembled it and had no complaints about the the amount of time or effort required. BTW...We live on the outskirts of Houston, TX on the North East side outside the Beltway...probably 20-30 miles from nearest source of signals.

Great price, gets the job done!

I use it in the attic, so can't speak about outdoor durability, but been using it for nearly 4 years now and has been great. I'm getting all the local channels within at least 30 mile radius. Set it and forget it. Would highly recommend for about $20.

I hooked it up which was pretty stright forward

I never write reviews but for this product I am so impressed that I had to write one so people out there can potentially benefit as I have from this product. Now I wont say this thing is extremely solidly well built. But at the price that's no surprise. What is a surprise at the reception capability. I live in rural Maine...a river valley surrounded by hilly terrain. I tried a couple of so called long range antennas and couldn't get a glimmer of a signal so I didnt expect much from this one. I hooked it up which was pretty stright forward. Assembly was a slight challenge but between the manual and the pictures on the box it wasn't all that difficult. So once hooked up I just took it out and set it down on the lawn just to see and immediately got three channels trying to come in but not quite enough signal. Then I put it in a tree right outside my bedroom, not high enough to even run the full length of the attached cable, and bam, I had great signals from towers over 50 miles away in crystal clear HD, Only a few...and some were PBS stations, but that was just the first attempt and I havent tried moving the antenna around in the direction of other towers which I know are as close or closer, but dont see why they shouldnt come in with some adjustment. I downloaded an android app which is supposed to be great at showing what tv signals are available at your location and the relative strength of the signal. It told me that there were no signals at all in my location. Not a very good app because I have over the air tv in hi def thanks to this antenna. I am so impressed I plan to make a serious mount for it on a high pole...we will see how the rotation mechanism work or holds up...probably it wont for long in the Maine winter. But I will just point it in the direction that gets me the most signals and be happy with that if necessary - its free. Lastly, I know someone right down the road from me who spent upwards of three hundred dollars for some sort of antenna set up...I dont know who sold them that set up, but they obviously got taken because they dont get anymore channels than I do with this 25 dollar antenna. So before you spend that kind of money try this antenna. Now for 300 dollars Im sure they have a serious piece of equipment built to last with a good rotation mechanism and all that. Whatever. Im thrilled I paid only 25 bucks and get the same reception they do or better. I have the antenna hooked up to my media pc which has a tv tuner...I use Windows Media center and a media remote and watch and record over the air HDTV...all for free and thanks to this antenna!
