Supersonic 9-Band AM/FM/Shortwave Radio with Bluetooth, Red

I'll be honest, I didn't expect much from this radio. I mean, it's $16 and it's a multiband radio with full AM/FM/SW coverage, so it has to be trash, right? Wrong! This little radio really picks up the signals at night, with station after station showing up on the AM band as you S-L-O-W-L-Y turn the dial. You barely turn the dial at all and you might have actually skipped a station, because it's all crammed together so tight. But, with some patience, I was able to pull in stations from Ft. Worth and Nashville (I'm in Missouri) with no problem. SW works fine, but shortwave is not as good as it used to be, thanks to the internet. It's mostly just religious stations or WWV out of Ft. Collins, but they all come in great. However, the elephant in the room is FM reception, as well as dial accuracy on FM. Some of my local stations show up on the dial thusly: 92.9 comes in around 98 on the dial, and 97.9 is around 101. As you get to the end of the dial, it begins to become more accurate, and 106.7 is right around 107. Also, FM reception is weak. There are dozens of FM stations I can hear on my old GE Superadio, but only the 100KW blasters make it onto this radio. If you want excellent AM and SW reception, get this radio. FM is a disappointment.

I just love this little radio. Add a bluetooth speaker for bigger sound. Gets excellent reception! I also love the fact that you can put a thumb drive with some of your favorite tunes on it.

This is great little radio that does many functions very well. Although a small radio, it will fill a room with crystal clear audio. The FM, and bluetooth sound quality are impeccable. I live in a radio remote area, yet the tuning is remarkably sensitive and has excellent separation of stations(rejection). Tuning dial is accurate on all frequencies, and works very smoothly. The radio has a overall feeling of quality, fit and finish are flawless. A inexpensive radio that performs better than my larger, expensive radios.

Awesome little buy! Smaller than I thought but sounds great and was able to use the rechargeable battery immediately. Didnt have to charge it first.

Ok, it is indede small to the touch but power it has. The thing i likevis that you can use three double A batteries or you can use the chargeable lition battery great idea for emergency thank you

Be aware this unit only operates monophonic. FM is not stereo, the USB and the SD card inputs are played mono even to earphones. That said, the mono sound is pretty darn good. The FM tuner is hot, the AM good, but I really can't test the SW bands in this valley.

For the price this is a excellent radio. The reception is good for a portable radio. An longwire antenna helps greatly with SW reception. Would buy again.

This was such a neat little radio that I bought seven of them and pass them out to my family for Christmas. You can use it as a Bluetooth speaker shortwave radio FM radio or even play MP3s on a TF card!

It's smaller than I thought it would be. I like it over all it does what it says for the price. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was it doesn't have a earphone jack, not sure why?
