SuperSonic SC-909 2.4G 4-Channel Wireless Microphone System - Four Handheld Mics, 160ft Range, Balanced & Mix Outputs
SuperSonic SC-909 2.4G Four-Channel Wireless Microphone System
At a Glance
- What it is: Four handheld wireless microphones and one four-channel receiver, running on the licence-free 2.4 GHz band
- Key spec: Up to 160 ft of line-of-sight range, 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response
- The differentiator: FOUR mics in one box on four independent channels. Most systems at this price give you one or two
- Outputs: A mix output and a balanced output, so it plugs into a home amp or a real PA
- Warranty: 90 days parts and labour
- ⚠ Before you buy: This is a microphone system only. There is no speaker and no amplifier - the receiver must plug into a powered speaker, mixer, amp or PA.
SuperSonic's SC-909 hands four people a microphone. Four handheld transmitters, four independent 2.4 GHz channels, one receiver - so the karaoke duet becomes a quartet, the wedding gets a mic for the officiant AND the best man, and the classroom does not have to pass a single mic around. Range runs to 160 feet line-of-sight, and the receiver offers both a mix output and a balanced output so it talks to whatever you already own. Eight AA batteries are in the box.
Key Features
- Four handheld mics, four channels: Everybody who needs to be heard can be heard, at the same time
- 2.4 GHz, licence-free: No FCC licence, no frequency coordination, no UHF band anxiety
- Up to 160 ft range: Cover a hall, a church, a backyard or a classroom
- Mix output AND balanced output: The mix output goes straight into a home amp or powered speaker; the balanced output goes into a real mixer or PA
- 20 Hz to 20 kHz: Full-range response, so voices sound like voices
- 8 AA batteries included: Two per mic. You can use it the day it arrives
- Rubber rings included: Colour-code the four mics so nobody argues about whose is whose
Before You Buy
The honest limits, so this arrives as the product you pictured.
- There is no speaker and no amplifier in this box: The receiver is a receiver. It must be connected to a powered speaker, a mixer, an amp or a PA system. If you want to plug in and sing with nothing else, this is not that product
- The mics are NOT rechargeable: Each runs on 2 x AA. Eight AAs are included as a one-time courtesy - after that, they are consumables. Rechargeable AAs work fine
- 2.4 GHz shares airspace with Wi-Fi: In a crowded RF environment, keep the receiver in line of sight of the mics. 160 feet is a line-of-sight figure, not a through-walls figure

Frequently Asked Questions▼
Does it come with a speaker?
No. The SC-909 is a microphone system - four mics and a receiver. The receiver connects by cable to a powered speaker, mixer, amplifier or PA. If you want an all-in-one sing-along machine, you need a powered speaker as well.
Are the microphones rechargeable?
No. Each mic takes two AA batteries, and eight AA batteries are included in the box. Rechargeable AA cells work perfectly well in them.
How far will it reach?
Up to 160 feet line-of-sight. 2.4 GHz shares the band with Wi-Fi, so keep a clear path between the mics and the receiver for the best result.
How do I connect it to my amp?
Use the mix output for a home amp or powered speaker, or the balanced output for a mixer or PA. An audio cable is included.
Can all four mics be used at once?
Yes. They run on four independent channels, all simultaneously.
Care & Use▼
- Remove the AA batteries if the mics will be stored for more than a month.
- Keep the receiver in line of sight of the mics for maximum range.
- Wipe the mic grilles with a dry cloth. Never spray liquid into a grille.
- Store the mics in the gift box or a padded case - the capsules do not enjoy being dropped.
Why Choose SuperSonic?▼
SuperSonic has spent two decades building the audio and video gear that actually gets used - the karaoke rig at the party, the soundbar under the bedroom TV, the portable radio in the workshop. It is not boutique hi-fi and it does not pretend to be. SuperSonic publishes full specification tables on its own site, which is why we can tell you the exact wattage and the exact port list rather than repeating a marketing line, and every SuperSonic product carries a 90-day parts and labour warranty.
