Drains where it should
The pan hook on the wire basket lets you hang it on the rim after frying. Excess oil drips straight back into the pot, so food comes out less greasy and the counter stays clean.

Why buy from CurbGo
At a Glance
Frying at home is easier when the basket does the work. The Oster Sangerfield set pairs a 3.65-quart stainless steel pot with a lid and a wire frying basket, sized for small to medium batches of fries, wings, or fish. Lower the basket into hot oil, lift it when the food is golden, and hang it on the pot rim with the built-in hook so excess oil drips back into the pot. Riveted handles add strength, and the mirror-polished stainless steel looks sharp on the stove. Without the basket it works as an everyday saucepan for boiling and simmering.

Countertop fryers take up a cabinet and an outlet. This set works on the stove you already have and stores like any saucepan, which suits small kitchens and occasional fry nights.
Lose the basket and cover the pot, and it becomes a 3.65-quart saucepan for soup, rice, or boiling eggs. Keep the basket in for blanching vegetables and lifting them out in one move.
Compact batch frying on the stove.
Electric fryers add a cord and a bulky footprint. This set needs a stove and a thermometer, then stores like a saucepan.
Shallow frying splatters and needs flipping. A deep pot with a basket fries evenly and lifts out at once.
Scooping fries out a few at a time overcooks the first ones. The basket lifts the whole batch together.

Pretty good-could use a filter.
Pretty good stovetop fryer. It could use a screen to filter particles out of the oil.
Great for small batches and easy cleanup.
This fryer seems well made. I wanted a small fryer that would be easy to clean. I have a larger electric one that does a good job, but is a pain to get out and uses a gallon of oil, plus is a real chore to clean. I don't cook for a large family now so this fryer is great for one or two people, and I don't have to try to clean around parts that can't get wet. The whole thing can be thrown in the dishwasher and done.
Made well
Love how well this fryer cooks. It cleans up easy and is the perfect size for me. Well made.
Oustanding for what it is
I bought this back in August, and have used it a good dozen times for chicken and fish. It's a great size for a two person household, which is the case in my house. I only use the pure, or classic, Olive Oil, which is meant for frying, and works very well. I clean this pan and basket by hand and have had no problems. I absolutely recommend it for anyone looking for a smaller deep fryer.
Great little fryer.
Description says 3.65 us Qt. So no you will not cook a turkey for thanks giving. I wanted something that would not take a gallon and a half of oil, this fits the bill. Great product.
