At a Glance
Pasta night gets simpler when the pot does the straining for you. This Oster Sangerfield set boils five quarts of water, steams a basket of vegetables above it, and then locks its own lid on so you can tip the water out without wrestling a colander over a hot sink. It is the everyday pot that quietly replaces three pieces of gear.

What's Included
Perfect For
How many pieces come in the set? Three: the 5-quart pot, a lift-out steamer insert and a locking strainer lid.
Do I still need a colander? No. The strainer lid locks onto the pot so you can pour the water off through the built-in holes.
Will it work on my induction cooktop? No. This pot is made for gas, electric and ceramic stovetops and is not induction compatible.
Can I steam vegetables and boil pasta at once? Yes. Boil in the pot and set the steamer insert on top to steam over the same water.
Is it dishwasher safe? Yes, though hand washing keeps the polished stainless looking its best.
For nearly a century Oster has built dependable kitchen gear that families reach for every day. The Sangerfield cookware line carries that reputation into clean, polished stainless steel that looks the part on the stove and works hard through the week. This pasta pot is a smart, space-saving centerpiece for the cook who values fewer, better tools.

Carrying a hot pot to a colander in the sink is how burns happen. The strainer lid locks on and pours the pasta water off through built-in holes, so draining stays over the stove and in your control.
Cooking a side usually means a second pot and a second burner. The lift-out steamer insert sits over the same boiling water, so vegetables or dumplings cook right alongside the pasta.
Thin pots boil hot in the center and scorch. An encapsulated aluminum base spreads heat across the bottom for a steady, even boil and easier cleanup afterward.
What you get in one box.
A basic pot forces you to lug boiling water to a colander in the sink. This set locks a strainer lid on and drains at the stove, cutting the risky hand-off entirely.
Many pasta pots only boil. This one adds a lift-out steamer insert, so the same pot handles vegetables, dumplings and fish over the boiling water.
Lightweight pots develop hot spots and dents fast. Polished stainless steel over an encapsulated aluminum base heats evenly and holds up to daily cooking.

Amazing pot, wish it wasnt steamer
Very pretty, high quality and unique dimensions (tall and thin) great space saver for those who only make smaller batches of soup or tamales. However, the lid and steamer don't seem like something most people would use and a standard dish lid would have been better.
Solid Pot, with great straining options!
Great product. Thanks for having it available.
