The Optimus F-4182 is built to move serious air in serious spaces. An 18-inch industrial fan with an all-metal body and a heavy-duty 12-inch aluminum blade, it drives up to 350 CFM across a garage, warehouse bay or workshop on three high-torque speeds. Tilt the head to blast a floor, dry a wet slab or circulate air toward the ceiling. This is a workhorse, not a desk fan.
We would rather you know this now than after it arrives.
How much air does it move?
The F-4182 pushes up to 350 CFM on its top speed, enough to cool and circulate air in a garage, warehouse bay or large workshop.
Does it oscillate?
No. This is a high velocity industrial fan. The head tilts through its full range so you can aim air across a floor or up toward the ceiling, but it does not sweep side to side.
Is it really all metal?
Yes. The body is all-metal and the blade is heavy-duty 12-inch aluminum, built for demanding shop and job-site use.
Can I use it to dry a floor?
Yes. Tilt the head down and the strong directional airflow helps dry a wet slab, fresh paint or a mopped floor quickly.
Optimus is a go-to name for hard-working, budget-smart fans and heaters, and its industrial high velocity line is a shop favorite. The F-4182 shows why: an all-metal body, a heavy aluminum blade and a high-torque three-speed motor that moves real air where the job is hot. It is the fan you point at the problem and forget about.

Plastic fans crack and melt in tough conditions. The F-4182 is all metal with a heavy 12-inch aluminum blade and reinforced wire grill, made to run hard in garages, warehouses and shops.
Stagnant air makes work miserable. Tilt the head down to blast a floor and dry a slab, or up to circulate air toward the ceiling and keep an entire room moving.
A box fan pushes soft air that fades fast in a big space. This all-metal industrial fan drives a high velocity stream up to 350 CFM, moving far more air and holding up to shop conditions.
A desk fan is built for a quiet office. This 18-inch industrial fan is a different class entirely, made to cool a hot garage, warehouse or job site where a desk fan does nothing.
A room fan sweeps a gentle breeze for comfort. This high velocity fan concentrates powerful directional air to cool large spaces, dry floors and circulate air fast.

Optimus Prime!!
Great quality, great service! Would definitely order again!
Purchased 2011 Still working great after 11 years
Originally bought it as part of a 7th grade science wind generating power project. Never have any problems with it and it still works great. I am wondering if their quality control slipped in 2016 due to the high number of negative reviews
Ligero y muy potente
Es muy rápido y me gusta el color
Best Value, for a Great Fan!
We were in the middle of a long heat wave of 100°+ several days consecutively. This fan really saved the day since I had no air conditioner, and with the 3 speeds it moves the air quickly. This is my second Optimus fan and I feel it's a great value for the money. I recommend this fan.
Lasted less than a year.
Fan was great while it lasted. But it just stopped working the other day for no reason after less than a year .
