Optimus H-1382 Portable Oscillating Fan Heater with Adjustable Thermostat – 1500W Personal Space Heater for Home & Office

I have used these particular models for years. they are perfect for extra heat in a room, have a safety mechanism, a thermostat to let them go off when not needed, and do not raise the electric bill at all, even when we run them non stop.

This works perfectly in my open cubicle office. This is my second one. My first one I have had for about 6 years. The oscillator quit working, but everything else still works fine. My coworker is using my old one now. The fan only is great in the summer!

Heat is good will definitely buy again

Bought this heater 7.21.17 and today 2.4.22 it stopped working. We got it for the RV but my son ended up taking it for his basement bedroom. He runs it everyday because it's always cold down there. It's a finished basement but still. This heater has performed flawlessly and that's why we're buying the exact same one to replace it!

Got the first one for my husband (who is from the caribbea). It works so well, I got one for my sister (who has RA). This is perfect for the bedroom or office. Love that the unit has a thermostat and will turn itself on/off.

Love it, My office is always cold. This heater is awesome! The one I had before it, I had had for 15 years. I was very upset when it stopped working but it ran a long time. This one is doing just great and it rotates which is an added bonus. The fan is very cooling as well. Great product. Good size. Would definitely recommend. Question was asked Is it loud? My answer: Not really. It not silent but not loud. I actually forget its on after a while. My office is extremely cold and the heater is great. It rotates, turns off if it falls or you lean it over. I get a lot of people at my desk and most don't notice it, at all. Nice size for small spaces. Not big enough if trying to warm a big open room.

This is very effective for heating my (often freezing cold) bedroom - sometimes too much so, but if I'm careful with the settings, I can avoid the room getting too stuffy. It's /loud/ - much louder than any fan that size should be, though probably somewhat quieter than my window AC is in the summer. I don't usually mind, because I like the white noise when I sleep, but I still think it should be quieter. I personally would also prefer to have a fan that can tilt up or down, but it's clear from the product listing that it doesn't do that, so I'm not counting that as a flaw.

Seems to do the job of keeping me warm in my office but it is LOUD. Not sure if the sound of the fan is going to be too distracting.

This compact heater gets the job done in a hurry. My office is a refrigerator; could hang meat in it. It's a large room so I didn't think anything this small would warm it and I didn't want anything larger. I took a chance and bought this one after spending a lot of time looking at other products. This is a good investment; has mucho power; blends with room items; and lightweight. Overall, it's a winner for feeling winter.

All of these little electric heaters have the same amount of heat, 1500 watts. As far as bells and whistles, this has oscillation and separate knobs for controls and thermostat. It's light-weight, so if you equate weight with quality you won't like it that much. I like that it's less than a foot tall and easy to move around. It's everything I need at a really attractive price point.

Exactly what I expected. Keeps my room warm on cold days. The heat is not very strong but pleasantly warm. Works best at short distance but will heat up a closed room in time. As a reference, I am using this in 40 defree temperatures on low with the heat set to the halfway point. I don't know how well this will hold up in colder temperatures.

My Optimus heater has proven to be a great buy. It's efficient, dependable, just the right size, easy to clean with a can of compressed air, now if I could only get it back from my wife...
