The Optimus F-6212A brings back the classic all-metal desk fan, with a warm oil-rubbed bronze finish that looks at home on a nightstand, shelf, or office desk. Behind the retro styling is a real 3-speed, 60-watt motor that oscillates 90 degrees and runs on a 60-minute timer. A built-in carry handle lets you move steady, quiet cooling wherever you need it.
We would rather you know this now than after it arrives.
Does the F-6212A oscillate?
Yes. The head sweeps a 90 degree arc to spread air across a desk, bed, or seating area, and you can turn oscillation off to hold one direction.
How long does the timer run?
The built-in timer runs up to 60 minutes, then shuts the fan off on its own. It is handy for drifting off to sleep or a set work session.
Is it really metal?
Yes. The housing has a genuine all-metal retro build with an oil-rubbed bronze finish, which gives it real heft and a premium feel over plastic desk fans.
How big is it?
It is a 12-inch table and desk fan sized for personal cooling. It fits on a nightstand or desk and includes a carry handle for moving it around.
Optimus knows that a fan can be a decor piece as well as an appliance. The F-6212A revives the golden-age metal desk fan with modern touches like oscillation and a timer, delivering the charm of a vintage fan without the fragility of a real antique. For anyone who wants character on the desk and dependable cooling in the room, Optimus nails the balance at a fair price.

Leaving a fan running all night wastes power. The 60-minute timer lets you fall asleep to a steady breeze and trusts the fan to shut itself off after you drift away.
A fixed fan chills one spot. The 90 degree oscillation sweeps the airflow across a bed, desk, or small seating area so the whole space feels cooler.
A plastic fan feels flimsy and looks cheap. This all-metal retro fan adds real weight, a warm finish, and lasting durability while cooling just as effectively.
A floor fan is loud and takes up space. This compact table fan delivers quiet, close-range personal cooling that fits neatly on a desk or nightstand.
A basic fan runs until you switch it off. This one shuts down on its own after up to 60 minutes, ideal for sleep and set work sessions.

Quiet, feels sturdy, real metal
I wouldn’t call this brushed bronze, more like a brushed warm nickel. Make sure you look at all the pics the seller provides if this is important to you. I thought it would be darker like 1st pic but I like the brushed lighter color and the metal looks good. To compare here’s my (older & different brand) “oiled bronze”. So far works well & is quiet. Has a heavy duty, thick diameter plug vs a flat plug in case that matters to you (see pic).
C’est bien pour moi
Bien un peu de bruit en la montant
Nice quality.
Second one I've purchased. They're heavy weight and great looking.
Replacement fan for it's fraternal twin.
I like the look of this fan. My Holmes Fan is on it's way out. The air flow is a little less than my old fan which has the same 60 watts. The power button is too close to the fan for someone who has bigger hands.
Loved It Right Out Of The Box
Great fan and looks nostalgic. Just pluged it in and loved it.
