Most dish racks are an eyesore you tolerate. The MegaChef DR-103 flips that: a compact 17.5-inch rack in confident red that stands plates upright, hangs cups on hooks, corrals utensils in their own cup, and sends every drip into its tray instead of across your counter.
Is this dish rack stainless steel?
No. The frame is iron wire sealed in a red powder-coat finish. Dry the rack after each use and skip abrasive scrubbers to keep the coating intact for the long haul.
Does it come with a drain tray?
Yes. The indented plastic draining tray sits under the full rack and catches runoff, and a detachable 3.5 x 3.5 in utensil holder is included as well.
Will it hold pots and pans?
It is sized for everyday plates, bowls, cups, and utensils on a 17.5 x 13.5 in footprint. Towel-dry large cookware and give the rack to the dishes you wash daily.
How many dishes fit at once?
Fourteen raised holders stand plates individually, six hooks hang cups and mugs, and the utensil cup handles a full drawer's worth of flatware and tools.
Set the rack on a level counter with the tray's indented edge facing the sink. After the dishes are put away, pour off any collected water, wipe the tray, and towel the wire frame dry. Clean the rack and utensil cup with warm soapy water and a soft cloth only; abrasive pads can chip the powder coating. Do not put the rack in the dishwasher.
MegaChef builds hardworking kitchen gear that earns daily counter space, from flatware and cookware to small appliances trusted in millions of homes. The brand's focus is simple: practical designs, honest materials, and color that makes routine chores feel less routine. The DR-103 carries that same everyday-workhorse thinking to the drying rack.

Tired of plates drip-drying in a damp stack on a towel that never dries itself? Fourteen raised holders stand each plate apart so air reaches every surface and water lets go fast.
Puddles creeping out from under the drying zone ruin the whole point of cleaning up. The indented plastic tray catches runoff beneath the entire rack and sheds it toward the sink instead.
Loose forks and spatulas scattered across a rack never dry right and always end up on the floor. The detachable 3.5-inch cup stands them upright, then lifts off for a quick rinse.
Compact on the counter, generous where it counts.
A towel traps moisture under every plate and needs constant washing itself. The DR-103 stands fourteen plates in open air, hangs six cups, and routes every drip into its tray.
Tower racks loom over small counters and block cabinet doors. This rack stays 5.5 inches low and 17.5 inches long, drying a full load while your workspace stays open.
Flimsy plastic drainers bow under a stack of dinner plates and stain fast. Powder-coated iron wire holds its shape load after load, and the wipe-clean finish keeps its color.

Doesn’t drain
Great item except it was damaged during shipping and the drain board does not have an outlet to let water drain into the sink. It just sits there until it evaporates or you dump it out. It was so inexpensive I just ordered a different drainboard.
