What's Included
Perfect For
What comes in the 12-piece set?
Four 10.7-inch coupe plates, four 8.5-inch dinner bowls at 32 oz, and four 6.1-inch cereal bowls at 26 oz. It pairs plates with two bowl sizes.
Is it microwave safe?
No. Melamine is not microwave or oven safe. Warm food on a separate dish and serve it here.
Why two bowl sizes instead of a salad plate?
The Rockabye set is built for bowl meals, so it swaps a second plate for a larger dinner bowl, which suits pasta, grain bowls, and soups.
Can I run it through the dishwasher?
Yes, on the top rack, away from the heating element.
Wash these pieces on the top rack of the dishwasher or by hand, and keep them away from direct heat. Do not microwave and do not use in an oven, under a broiler, or on a stovetop. Avoid cutting directly on the surface with metal knives, which helps the finish look new for years.
Gibson has outfitted American kitchens for over a hundred years, and it earns that shelf space with tableware that balances looks, durability, and price. This melamine line is built for the way people actually eat now, indoors and out, with finishes that read like ceramic and a body that takes a drop. CurbGo stocks it because it is the honest middle ground between disposable plates and fragile china.

The matte dark teal and rimless coupe shape read current and calm, not budget. Because it lives on break-resistant melamine, that modern look survives dropped plates, crowded sinks, and years of everyday use without chipping.
Between the plates and two bowl sizes, this one set covers weeknight dinners, big salads, and lazy cereal mornings. You get the flexibility of buying several coordinated pieces without hunting them down separately or mixing finishes.
Verified specs for the full service for four.
Ceramic chips and shatters when a plate slips from wet hands or a picnic table. This melamine survives the same drops, so it holds up to kids, decks, and campsites for years.
Paper and plastic plates flex under a real dinner and head straight to the trash. These reusable melamine pieces hold a full plate, wash clean on the top rack, and come back next weekend.
A stack of odd hand-me-down plates never looks pulled together. A coordinated service for four gives every seat the same look, so the table reads finished without the cost of fine china.

Overall happy but a little beat up out of the box
Overall happy with the quality. Have only taken out of the box so far and have not actually eaten on them, but they feel sturdy in. The color is beautiful. Removed one star because a few of the pieces do have dings and scratches on them already. I’m using these for camping so not overly concerned because I know they will get beat up but slightly concerning if they are banged up before even using.
High quality
Fabulous durability, good looking, and easy to clean! Highly recommend. (And I’m picky)
Generally unbreakable
Color true; weight pleasant; size of bowl on the small side,- almost as for a child; pasta bowl just big enough, yet and like the cereal bowl still a little too small. The dinner plate has marr on its side as from the manufacturing process.
Good for the cost
I bought these about 2 years ago and they’ve held up so well! They are plastic so I do not microwave food with them. I was under the impression they would be ceramic but I’m sure if I took the time to look a little harder I would’ve realized before purchasing. Either way great value for the cost if you’re ok with plastic dishware.
Nice color and quality
The color of these is outstanding and they are heavier than usual inexpensive plates and don’t feel like plastic. Bowls are nice and big. Wish there were salad plates. The directions say not to put in the dishwasher but I do and they show no signs of wear.
