Perfect for everyday use
I was looking to replace my old melamine plates I bought from Target many years ago and this set fit the bill perfectly. I usually eat my meals holding the plate in my hand or lap while watching TV or the computer and I needed light-weight material, which rules out the ceramics/stoneware dinnerware sets. Note that this review is for the "colors" Yellow-Gold, Sage Green, Rose-Red, and Blue; other color selections are different products altogether, which have some negative reviews. True, these are not microwave, oven, or dishwasher safe, but that's what melamine is and I have no problem with that. The set I received was in perfect condition and exactly as pictured. Quality is excellent. Product has a simple mid-century-modern aesthetic to it that I really like.
