Before You Buy

• No lid comes with it. This is the open skillet only, so plan on a separate 12-inch lid if your recipes call for covering the pan.
• The handles get hot. Cast iron carries heat into the handle on the stove and in the oven, so keep pot holders or oven mitts within reach.
• Hand wash recommended. Washing by hand protects the enamel finish. Let the pan cool first and skip harsh scouring pads.
