Exactly the correct size to cook 1 full cup of dried beans . 2 good portions- for one person who is very hungry, or 2 servings for more moderate appetites. put on low - high bubbles and boils !

Small is what I wanted for road trips, so YAY!

At the price I paid I consider this little pot worth the risk. When an electric hookup becomes available, I will heat soup, or prepare freeze dried meals, and, I imagine, other simple fare. Plus, the unit fits exactly the spot I planned in the van.

Good Little Crock

Love this little crock for warm dips at home or carried to parties over the holidays. It is small so if feeding more than 8-10 will need to bring extra to add to the crock. It kept the dip warm and worked as intended. Good value for the money. 4 stars as it arrived with scratches the the cover knob and outside of crock. It did not impact the function and the ceramic inside finish remained intact with several uses and washes. It could also use a longer cord. Have an extension cord ready if not within a few feet of the outlet.

More of a warmer upper than slowcooker

I do love this little thing and use it all the time. I put green beans, corn, gravy etc. Works great to keep hot foods hot and to get cold foods hot also but it takes time. I usually just throw my green beans in with a blob of butter, salt, pepper by the time your done cooking the rest of dinner its hot and you have had one less pot on your stove in your way. IYKYK Its great but i wouldnt plan on really "cooking" anything out of it

Not 1.5 Quarts

For the price I will not return it. . BUT... I bought this based on size. so I am very unhappy and feel cheated. It only holds 5 cups of water , at the most. -when full to the lid slow cookers make a mess by spattering all over the place. So this slow cooker is not even 1.25 quarts. It is actually 1.2 quarts. The unit works well and is easy to clean. It is compact. I am unhappy because the labeling and specifications of this product are inaccurate and untruthful. It would not be such a big deal if it was an 8 or 12 quart slow cooker. 1.25 cup inaccuracy over 24 cups would make a negligible difference at 5.02% But a 20.8% difference? (1.25 /6) -Ridiculous. I made my first pot of split pea soup in it. I had to go down to 3/4 cup of peas from 1 cup of peas, which makes the recipe math intensive and complicates pantry usage and storage. I have leftover ingredients which will not break down equally now. Like I said , I bought it trusting that it really holds 6 cups... I even checked recipes for quantities and water ratios. Buyer beware. Not the end of the world , but not what I paid for.

Well made!

So far I’ve soaked beans & made a pot of baked beans enough for the two of us in this little cooker. Also it is good for keeping mashed potatoes warm which frees up the stove for other things in the making. I especially want to use this little cooker for having oatmeal ready for our breakfast in the mornings. Love using it for cooking sliced apples in. Great value for the money!
