Brentwood TS-363BK 1100W Countertop Double Coiled Electric Burner

At a Glance

  • What it is: A two-coil portable electric cooktop for a dorm, an RV, an outage, or a kitchen that is being remodelled.
  • Power: 1100 watts.
  • Burners: One 5.5-inch coil and one 5-inch coil. Pan bases up to 5.5 inches.
  • Temperature: Knob-adjustable from 390 to 1,020 degrees F.
  • Cookware: Works with everything - stainless, cast iron, copper, aluminium, carbon steel, ceramic, glass and clad.
  • ⚠ Before you buy: These are exposed coils, not a flat top. Your pan base must be 5.5 inches or smaller, and flat-bottom woks and warped pans will wobble.

There is a moment in every kitchen remodel, every dorm move-in and every power outage where you would trade a great deal for two working burners. This is that appliance: 1100 watts, two coils, one knob per burner, and cookware compatibility with literally everything, because a coil does not care whether your pan is magnetic.

Key Features

  • Two coils, two sizes. A 5.5-inch and a 5-inch burner, so a saucepan and a frying pan can run side by side.
  • Broad temperature range. 390 to 1,020 degrees F on an adjustable knob - simmer to sear.
  • Takes any cookware. Stainless, cast iron, copper, aluminium, carbon steel, ceramic, glass, clad. No induction-compatible pan hunt.
  • Power indicator light. You can see at a glance that a coil is live - which matters a lot with an exposed element.
  • Wipes clean. The coil lifts and the body wipes down.
  • Compact and portable. 16.9 x 8.7 x 3.3 inches. Stores in a cupboard.

Before You Buy

  • Pan bases must be 5.5 inches or smaller. Anything bigger overhangs the coil, heats unevenly and scorches in the middle.
  • 1100 watts is shared across both coils. Running both at once is slow. This is a supplementary cooktop, not a stove replacement.
  • Exposed coils are not a flat top. Flat-bottom woks, warped pans and very thin pans will rock. Use flat, true-bottomed cookware.
  • Set it on a level, heat-safe surface. Never on a countertop you care about without a trivet, and never near anything flammable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my 10-inch frying pan work?
The pan BASE must be 5.5 inches or smaller to sit properly on the coil. A 10-inch pan with a small flat base can work; a 10-inch flat-bottom pan will overhang and cook unevenly.

Can I use cast iron on it?
Yes. Coil burners take any cookware material, cast iron included.

Can I run both burners at full heat?
You can, but 1100 watts split two ways heats slowly. For real heat, use one coil at a time.

Does it work with induction pans?
Yes - a coil burner heats any pan. Induction compatibility is irrelevant here.

Is it a flat glass top?
No. It is an exposed-coil burner.

Care & Use
  • Unplug and let the coils cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the coils and the drip area with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit.
  • Wipe spills as soon as the unit is cool - baked-on food is far harder to remove later.
  • Always use it on a level, heat-resistant surface with clearance from walls and cabinets.
Why Choose Brentwood?

Brentwood Appliances has been building affordable, honest countertop appliances for American kitchens since 1941. The brand's whole proposition is that a small kitchen appliance should do one job properly, cost a sensible amount of money, and last.

Brentwood also publishes a California AB 1200 chemical-disclosure lookup covering its cookware and food-contact lines, and backs its electrics through a US service desk. That is a level of transparency most budget appliance brands never bother with.

Shipping & Warranty

Backed by Brentwood's 1-year limited manufacturer warranty. Ships fast from CurbGo with tracking.
