Why buy from CurbGo
At a Glance
Some mornings you do not want a touchscreen. The Better Chef IM-117R is a drip coffee maker the way they used to build them: fill the tank to the window, drop a paper filter and grounds into the swing-out basket, and flip the lighted switch. Nine hundred watts brings twelve cups through in minutes, the Pause-N-Serve valve lets you steal the first cup while it is still brewing, and the warming plate keeps the rest ready until you switch it off.

Water in, filter in, switch on. The IM-117R brews a full twelve-cup pot with a single lighted switch and no programming, which means nothing to reset after a power blip and nothing for a guest to puzzle over.
The Pause-N-Serve valve stops the drip the moment you lift the carafe, so you can pour the first cup while the rest of the pot is still brewing, then set it back and let it finish.
Nine hundred watts pushes twelve five-ounce cups through in minutes, and the whole machine is about 8.5 inches wide with the cord stored underneath, so it fits a narrow counter under the cabinets.
Big pot, small counter.
A programmable machine adds a clock, a timer, and a menu you reset after every outage. This one has a single switch: flip it when you want coffee and flip it off when you are done.
A pod machine makes one cup at a time from pods that cost more per cup. This brewer makes twelve cups from ground coffee and a paper filter for a fraction of the price per pot.
A thermal carafe keeps coffee hot for hours without a plate but costs more and hides how much is left. The glass carafe here shows the level at a glance and sits on a warming plate.
A compact 12-cup brewer. Measure the gap under your upper cabinets before it lands.

Almost 1 1/2 years and still working fine!!
I have had this almost 1 1/2 years and it is still working fine. I have not had any problems. I am now using a Keurig also so I expect this will last much longer since it will not be use as much.
